Maybe it's just me but I always thought it was kind of weird that magazines print their publications a month in advance. Although it's only the beginning of September, next month's magazines have already rolled out.
Top to bottom, Right to left:

• First up is Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, and Alicia Keys sharing the cover of GLAMOUR. The beauty trinity may seem like an odd combination but the trio in addition to Patty Jenkins have signed on to direct the Lifetime original movie Project Five, an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives. The premiere date for Project Five is still TBA
• Then there's Adele on VOGUE! Yeah the cover is nothing short of amazing but why do magazine editors always play the plus-sized girls and use close-up shots? (I.E. Jennifer Hudson’s cover)
• Next is Angelina Jolie on VANITY FAIR. She's a pretty woman but I never thought she was this drop-dead beuty like she's always hyped up to be. Maybe it's just me though.
• Lady Gaga goes all clean and fresh faced on the cover of HARPER'S BAZAAR. Ehhh

"Gwyneth Paltrow Saved My Life on 9/11" -Lara Lindstrom Clarke

This story truly struck a nerve. You never know how one tiny thing can impact your life in a HUGE way.

On September 11th, 2001 while rushing to her job at the World Trade Center 24-year-old Lara Lindstrom Clarke went to cross the street but quickly stopped because an SUV was coming her way. The driver of the SUV stopped to let Lara cross but hesitant Lara waved to let the SUV go.

The driver of the SUV was none other than Oscar award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow coming from an early morning yoga class. The two did a kind of "you-go, no-you-go" back and forth thing until Clarke eventually crossed and Paltrow drove on. As a result Lara made it to her train just in time to see it pulling off and had to wait an hour for the next one. When Clarke got off the next train she walked up to the World Trade Center at 8:47am the moment the first plane hit. Had it not been for her chance encounter with Paltrow, Lara would have made her train and been sitting at her desk on the 77th floor of the south tower at 8:47am instead she was outside thanking god... and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Double Skoop of Kardashian

Earlier this year Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian announced they would be releasing yet another clothing collection. Not with QVC, not with Bebe but this time, with Sears. Same girls, different store. My mom doesn't even shop at Sears anymore but maybe the head honchos over at Sears thought... "If anyone can get us some customers, it's those Kardashians!" Who knows. Anyway, this month the Kardashian Kollection, hit stores and it is a full fledged collection with everything from apparel, lingerie, jewelry, accessories, shoes and lots and lots of leopard! T.I. IS (half-way) HOME!

This morning at the crack of dawn, 7:30 to be exact, rapper T.I. was released from jail, AGAIN, and hopefully FOR GOOD!

T.I.P. was arrested back in September of 2010 when his Maybach was pulled over for a minor traffic violation in the wee hours of the morning in the streets of Cali. Then the cop smelled some Cali, kush that is. After being arrested for drug possession, the rapper had his probation revoked and was sentenced to a year bid. But he's home now! I guess that means the Tiny slander will reach a fever pitch on twitter. And speaking of twitter, after being released T.I. tweeted...

The reason he's (half-way) home is because he'll probably have to serve the 1 month remainder on his year sentence in a half-way home. But at least the king is un-caged!

Remember Paris Hilton Bestie Kimberly Stewart? Paris has had a lot of BFFs and she even had a show dedicated to finding a new one, but Kimberly Stewart was pre-BFF-show, pre-Kim Kardashian-friendship, and post-Nicole Richie. Kimberly Stewart was a train-wreck and now... She's a mom!

The father of the baby is probably the biggest shocker...

Music: The Dream

The Dream is an artist who NEEDS MORE PEOPLE! Stylists, trainers, PR, media coaches, the whole 9 yards! I say that because public perception of his music is incredible but public perception of him is horrendous. Too often he's photographed in smedium clothing and even more often he's quoted saying the most ridiculous stuff. He should be heard not heard. Meaning he needs to stick to music and fall back on the interviews. And while we're at it... Maybe he should fall back from the photo shoots too, especially photo shoots like the one above. 

But anywho, today The Dream dropped what he calls a "free album" not a mixtape, and it's so personal he released it under his government name Terius Nash. Of the mixtape, Terius said... 

Tyler Perry TV: For Better or Worse

With 16 plays, 15 movies, and 2 television shows you would think Tyler Perry would be basking in his own glory but no ma'am! The quadruple-threat actor/ writer/ director /producer is only expanding and branding more and more. In 2009 Perry spoke of his desire to start a television network much like his bestie Oprah, and fast-forward to 2011 it seems like that dream may be coming to fruition. Perry's cable network which the New York Times reports will be called "Tyler TV" is on the minds of many including  Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer...
 But will it be on our televisions?

Basketball Wives: LA; Premiere

So tonight was the season premiere of Basketball Wives: LA and it was nothing like I expected I was under the impression that it was going to be a classier version of the original Basketball wives but it wasn't. Its the same script, different cast. Grown women shopping, lunching, brunching and bickering about a bunch of nothing. The show's cast consists of (picture above r to l) Melissa Imani Showalter (ex-fiancee to Stephen Jackson of the Milwaukee Bucks) Draya Michele (model and starving actress) Laura Govan (baby mother to Gilbert Arenas) Gloria Govan (fiancee of Lakers player Matt Barnes) Malaysia Pargo (wife of Chicago Bulls' Jannero Pargo) and last but not lease Jackie "Crazy" Christie (wife of retired player Doug Christie).
